Hi. Here at lois olson photography, I mostly shoot stock images of people & travel, but lately, I've been finding myself doing more location portrait shoots. No two shoots are alike. My focus is on capturing people's quirkiness. You know, what makes them who they are? I'm not much of a chatterer while I shoot, and I'm definitely not one to pose people. I think that just makes regular folks look stiff and unnatural in the images.

I like to capture people in their natural environment, comfortable with who they are, just being themselves and doing what comes naturally to them as they interact with those who matter most to them. Their eyes start to shine, their bodies become relaxed, and they come alive. And this definitely shows in the final images.
